Massachusetts Pay Transparency Law Dates

Are you ready for the MA Pay Transparency Law?  The Commonwealth of Massachusetts passed a pay transparency legislation in July 2024.  This law went into effect on January 1, 2025. There are two key Massachusetts Pay Transparency Law Dates that companies should be aware of:

Is your company ready? 

  • Do all of your company roles have updated job descriptions with defined pay ranges? 
  • Do you have updated job postings with accurate pay ranges listed? 
  • Have you completed a pay equity audit to prevent gender and racial discrimination?
  • Are you prepared for employees to inquire about their pay range?
  • Will your business be compliant by the defined Massachusetts Pay Transparency Law dates?
